Within each software package there are certain areas that need to be activated and setup to allow correct reporting. This is especially true with businesses that require job reporting and Inventory Management. Additionally if the setup of the chart of accounts, associated links, GST and items codes for services and goods are not setup correctly, it can be a huge costly job for your client to correct at a later stage. We are constantly correcting Accounting Software Set-ups and we have seen this cost clients anything from $500 to $25,000. These costs could have been avoided.

- At the end of the year -we can perform a check and correct Internal accounts so that the data you receive is correct. This saves you time and makes you more margin. Additionally the client is in a much better position to analyze,manage, and grow their business.
- End of Year Rollovers -Prior to rollovers its important to enter End of Year journal transactions, so that internal accounts match Accountants accounts. Additional there are some very important features that need to be performed prior to rollover to protect the integrity of the accounting records. If this is not completed correctly all previous item transaction data is lost forever !
Warning -Be careful when recommending XERO Accounting Software to clients- it only suits a small percentage of businesses

1. It does not have Inventory control.
2. Job reporting is not adequate for most businesses. It has some job costing but does not have full job reporting and only allows an individual job report.
3. If you have a lot of data entry with multi users, the speed is not adequate.
